Cosmetic tattooing is a treatment that defines the eyebrows, eyes or lips by the controlled insertion of safe colour pigments into the dermis layer of the skin. This procedure is performed by our highly qualified and experienced clinicians using the Meditouch Premium Tattooing Platform. A range of colours are available and customised to suit individual requirements.

Cosmetic tattoos fade over time and varies between individuals. It is recommended that regular touch ups be performed every 2-6 months for optimum long lasting results.

The procedure can be uncomfortable for some individuals. We use a topical anaesthetic cream to reduce discomfort.

It is normal for the area to be red and swollen on the day of your treatment and we recommend the use of our ‘after care cream’ to aid in healing time. Full after care instruction will be provided to you at the time of your appointment.

Minor skin lesions such as skin tags, cholesterol deposits, milia or fibromas are a common skin concern. As the skin changes with ageing various skin lesions or abnormalities can appear especially in certain ethnic populations. The Clinical Skin Clear Platform provides a quick and effective treatment for removal of many types of skin lesions. By using vapourisation to dehydrate the lesion there is no burning or scarring. This treatment does not harm surrounding tissue, there is minimum discomfort and fast healing time from a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending upon the lesion. As lesions are treated superficially more than one treatment may be necessary.

PlasmaBlast stimulates the production of collagen and elastin as part of the skin’s natural healing process through the application of a controlled ‘micro-beam of plasma’ to superficial layers of the skin. PlasmaBlast provides a non-surgical way to treat sagging skin, wrinkles and scars.

The treatment can be a little uncomfortable and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to reduce discomfort.

Immediately after the treatment the area will be red and mildly swollen. Small dots appear at the points of treatment which will go on to form scabs. These scabs will fall off naturally in a couple of weeks. It is very important that the treated area is protected from the sun for up to 3 months for best results.

Results usually appear after one treatment and take up to 2-3 months to fully develop. A second treatment may however be required in some circumstances.

Treatment can be used to:

HIFU energy is delivered into the dermis, deep dermis, subcutaneous fibrous tissue/hypodermis, fascia and superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS). As tissue temperature rises with the absorption of energy and vibration of cells, focal thermal coagulation points (TCP’s) are formed. These points stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin, and promote skin rejuvenation.

A variety of cartridges are used during treatment to specifically target HIFU focal points located at 1.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.5mm and 8-13mm below the surface of the skin, with surrounding tissues remaining unaffected.

As decreased amounts of collagen and elastin can cause fine lines, wrinkles and saggy skin. HIFU technology is able to generate wrinkle improvement, reduce fine lines and tighten sagging skin areas, by stimulating the body to create collagen and elastin.

Treatment in the collagen-rich focal point layer at 1.5mm creates superficial dermal neocollagenesis leading to a reduction in wrinkles. Simply put, it increases collagen production, at these shallow areas of the face.

Treatment in the deep dermis at the 3.0mm focal point, produces TCPs, promoting collagen regeneration and facial lifting.

Treatment in the focal point at 4.5mm enables non-surgical face lifting and tightening, as this layer is composed of collagen and elastin fibres playing a role in muscle contraction to the skin’s surface.

The actual treatment itself can cause an uncomfortable prickling sensation and mild heat may be felt post-treatment. The feeling of tightening may also be felt for a few days to a week, this feeling is caused by cellular activity happening below the dermis.

For optimal results, you should be using a routine skincare regime prior to your treatment. If you aren’t using one, please make an appointment with your nurse or dermal therapist so they can put you on a “quick response” pretreatment – every skin is different and individual treatment protocols are used to match your best possible outcome.

Post treatment care is always suggested by your dermal therapist to suit your response and to make sure you get the longest results from your treatment.
