Our strict practices include:

  • Being vigilant with hygiene standards ensuring all surfaces, equipment and products are cleaned with a high-grade disinfectant spray.
  • Ensuring our therapists wash their hands with soap and water before and after performing treatments.
  • Using disposable beauty applicators, bed rolls, gloves, paper towels and other consumables.
  • Adhering to State health requirements such as Laser Licenses relating to Laser treatments offered.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Beauty-thru-Nature is following the advice of the Australian Government, Australian Department of Health and the Queensland COVID-19 Safety guidelines and the World Health Organisation and in line with their recommendations for minimising the spread of COVID-19, our Therapists are implementing the following additional measures to take care of:

Hygiene and Sanitisation

  • All high customer-contact areas including the reception area, eftpos machine, and treatment rooms will be cleaned on a regular basis using an appropriate disinfectant. This includes high touch-point areas such as doors, door handles, counter tops, the waiting area, phone, cabinets, treatment beds and pillows.
  • There will be hand sanitiser at the front counter and in each of the treatment rooms.
  • Our Therapists will request our clients to use the hand sanitising gel supplied and to please cover coughs/sneezes and dispose of tissues appropriately.
  • Our Standard Operating Procedure for all treatments is for all Therapists to wear fresh disposable gloves for each treatment or service undertaken.
  • Additionally, the Therapists will all be wearing protective surgical facemasks at all times.

Record Keeping

  • Collection of contact information of clients and staff, including name, address and mobile number. Clients and staff will also be requested to declare any interstate or international travel undertaken in the last 28 days.

Social distancing

  • Maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5m between waiting room seats.
  • Ensuring there are no more than 10 persons present within the clinic premises at the same time. To this end, clients are requested not to bring along family or friends to their appointment.
  • Maintaining a waiting period of at least 30 mins. between appointments providing sufficient time for staff to undertake cleaning and disinfection of areas in between appointments.
  • To minimise person-to-person contact, we will not be accepting walk-in clients and in order to limit client interaction at the reception counter we are encouraging clients to book their next appointment and pay online where possible or use tap-and-go, direct deposit or other contactless payment options.

As we are advised against accepting walk-in customers, we are only accepting clients by appointment at this time. Bookings and payments can be made by visiting our website at If you already have an appointment with us and you feel unwell, or are experiencing any symptoms, or believe you may have been in close contact with someone who has the Coronavirus, please contact us and we will reschedule your appointment according to your convenience.

In line with the announcement from the Australian Government, if you have returned from overseas or have been in contact with someone who has recently returned from overseas, including China, Iran, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore and Thailand, the Australian Government requires you to self-isolate for a period of 14 days.
